Fotovoltaika na míru / How it works
Installation is the shortest part. The journey to it and from it to commissioning takes longer. Here is the entire process, including steps with the distributor that are usually not mentioned in quotes.
Send your annual electricity bill and a few details about the house or business: how you heat, how you heat water, who is home during the day, and whether you plan to install an electric vehicle or a heat pump. Within two days we will return a preliminary estimate of the solar plant and battery size. For businesses we request 15-minute interval data from the electricity meter.
A technician from your region will visit. They will survey the roof, assess the roofing material and its condition, shading, orientation, and access for installation. The distribution board, main circuit breaker, supply line, and space for the inverter and battery will be checked. The inspection is free and carries no obligation.

You will receive the roof panel layout, plant output, battery capacity, monthly production estimates compared to your consumption, and an itemised breakdown of components and works indicating what is included in the price. We will review the offer together, adjust it according to your priorities (backup during outages, EV preparation, battery expansion), and only then sign the contract.
We will submit a full-power application to connect your generation plant with your distributor: ČEZ Distribuce, EG.D or PREdistribuce. Plants up to 10.8 kW without grid feed-in follow a simplified procedure; others as microsources up to 100 kW require a standard application. The distributor usually issues its statement within a month; if network capacity is limited, connection may be conditional on restricting feed-in. Upon approval, you will sign the connection agreement. Simultaneously, we are preparing the documentation for NZÚ including the renovation certificate.
Installation begins only after the utility network statement is issued. Installing beforehand carries the risk that the plant will remain idle and cannot be switched on.
One to three days depending on size. Roof structure, panels, cable routes, inverter and battery in the utility room, distribution board modification, surge protection, connection of water heating control. Cleaning, training, handover protocol with documentation and photographs.
The inspection engineer will issue an electrical installation report, and the distributor will replace the electricity meter with a bidirectional (4Q) model. Conclude a contract with your electricity supplier regarding liability for deviations and, where applicable, the purchase of surplus energy or a virtual battery. Following the protocol for the first parallel connection, the power plant is switched on, and you can view both generation and consumption in the app.
Inspection after the first year, service intervention in case of production drop, monitoring of inspection deadlines. If a heat pump or electric vehicle is added, we will supplement the system with control or battery storage.
No. As the installer, we submit the application on your behalf using a power of attorney via the relevant distributor's portal (ČEZ Distribuce, EG.D, PREdistribuce). You sign the connection agreement, which the distributor sends after approval.
Only after the electrical installation inspection, replacement of the electricity meter with a bidirectional one, and signing an agreement with the supplier who assumes responsibility for any deviation. The distributor will then issue a protocol on the first parallel connection. Switching on earlier constitutes a breach of the connection conditions.
From your side, roughly three meetings: site visit, contract signing and handover after installation, plus document signatures. We handle the administration with the distributor, energy specialist and bank, keeping you informed at every step.
We only need your annual consumption from the bill and a few details about the roof. We will contact you within 24 hours, ask for further details and arrange a technical inspection. The design and inspection are free of charge and non-binding.
Call on working days; we will go through it together in ten minutes.
